SOCIAL MEDIA DETOXING!IS IT NECESSARY? DOES IT WORK?IS IT FOR EVERYONE?

Lets talk all things social media detoxing. Social media detoxing is a certain period of time one sets aside to not be on social media. well personally i do this once a month. and it is so refreshing for the mind!!


Benefits of social media detoxing:

Refreshes your mind, social can take up so much space in our minds than we may know, the detoxing can help one to just have a free minded 24 hours.Some may say the detoxing is for those with anxiety and depression or any mental issues but truth be told we all need some refreshed mind and a day away from our phones.


Get things done, it can also assist in getting things done on time, no beeping of whatsapp messages can be a relieve and can help one in getting things done more quicker, things such as cleaning the house, typing school work, and others


can improve your overall mood, you may not know this but social media detoxing can help in improving your overall mood. social media can take so much away from us, even though there are so many positive sides of social media it can also take so much away from us including our behavior/moods.


conquers the FOMO. fear of missing out on the latest trends are conquered by the detoxing, you get to live a real life without looking for whats new and whats good on social media its so refreshing TRUST me!!!


one gets to re-evaluate themselves and find themselves in some sort of a way (LOL). It gets you to focus on your goals and strategic moves you might wanna make that may be beneficial to you. on a smooth functioning mind. this is So GREAT!


Gain a lot of free time, get to spend time with family and friends or just have a great day from social media. and create amazing up-building conversations.


Live in the moment. some of us take stories non-stop, therefore social media detoxing gives us a real life back in some way, we get to enjoy lunch or supper at a dinner in a nice manner without taking stories but really living in the moment.


There are so many other benefits of social media detoxing these are just a few that i enjoy on my detox days, and thought i should share with you guys so that you can enjoy them as well.

Take a day off of social media and thank me later, it is so refreshing for the mind and the soul. it is a great way to be stress free, live in the moments of life, enjoy the day and still be productive.
